WinTopo is an excellent software for converting scanned, TIF, JPG, GIF, BMP images into usable vector files compatible with AutoCAD, GIS, CAD and other CAD-based software programs. A vector graphic is composed of pixels, which are a combination of red, green, and blue. The colors are manipulated using different algorithms that determine which part of the image to focus on. This means that there are different effects that can be achieved with various programs. In some programs, the program will make the image black and white so that it becomes easier to see the lines and shapes when a user is working in color. If you want to create your own vector graphic or just edit the ones you have already created with this software, then you can. All you have to do is open the file you want to convert and then click the "Create" button. After this, you will be prompted to enter a name for the graphic, a file type (PNG, EPS, PDF, TIFF, etc.) and then choose the dimensions for the graphic. In addition, you can choose the number of layers, transparency options, and other options depending on the program you are using. You can also choose to delete some layers or even a single image if you do not want to use it anymore. You can save a graphic as a vector image by choosing "Save As". There are also free versions of WinTopo available online. These are just a demo version of the software, so you would need to download the full version before making a purchase. The free versions usually work just fine but you cannot work on the images that are included in the free version. If you do not have enough space on your hard drive to store the downloaded files, then you can always go for the upgrade option available with the software. With WinTopo, you can have unlimited access to the software so you can make as many upgrades as you wish. and the graphics would remain as they were before you upgraded.
